I had recently been to Ramoji Film city and had gr8 fun......... Tuk some pics and made some videos. Few are really quite intersting.......

Since I had benn spending most of my time here theesedayz..so thought to post the thread here.Would love if it the mods made it sticky 4 few dayz.

Introduction

Ramoji Film City (RFC) is the world’s largest integrated film studio complex, at nearly 1,666 acres. It is also one of Asia’s most popular tourism and recreation centres.[citation needed] Opened in 1996, it is located about 25 km from Hyderabad, India. Established by the Ramoji Group, RFC offers comprehensive and international-standard pre-production, production, and post-production resources for film makers.

RFC offers over 500 set locations. Twenty international films, and nearly forty Indian films can be produced simultaneously in the complex. It has attracted not only filmmakers from Kollywood and Bollywood, but also producers from Hollywood. The RFC infrastructure includes: custom-designed locations & mock-ups, set construction, properties & costumes, shooting stages, cameras and equipment, audio post-production, digital post-production / SFX as well as film processing.

Ramoji Film City has ousted Hollywood studios to earn a place in the Guinness World Records as the world's largest film studio complex. :huge shock:

these are known as the karishma gardens. The flowers here are changed 4 every song to match the herienes saree.




This is the place where the song @ghoonghat ki aad mein dilbar ka - from hum hai rahi pyar k was shot.

The above structure is used for as temple and castles. The most specific use is the golden temple. For this they cover the structure with gold foil. ( found this pic on net)

I also took some vido with my cell phone (W810i).. The clarity is nott that gud in some places not too bad too.all videos were in 3gp format.

1) this video shows how a movie is made in reality. How first the video is taken( trick photography) then aow the audio is created and the final version what we see in movie.. I think you can easily skip a first 70 secs of this as its just about the film city.
